ACCREDITATION
ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for accreditation by IAOMM, an institution must meet the following requirements:

• The institution must be a formal or distance learning establishment offering certificates, diplomas, or degrees at all educational levels.
• It must have a defined group of individuals actively engaged in a structured learning format and environment. Programs offered must incorporate an interactive educational methodology suitable for the subject matter and expected learning outcomes.
• The institution must demonstrate continuous and successful operation in delivering education and/or training programs for at least one consecutive year preceding the application. A graduating class must have successfully completed their training as a minimum requirement.
• The institution must have maintained uninterrupted educational and training activities as scheduled, except in cases of natural disasters, civil disturbances, or unforeseen legal or regulatory changes affecting the institution.
• Exceptions to continuous operation may be considered by IAOMM if applied for in advance, demonstrating compelling reasons. Such applications must be timely submitted for proper review.
• The institution must have been under consistent ownership and/or management for at least one year prior to applying. IAOMM may waive this requirement upon submission of acceptable documentation proving the institution is managed by an educational entity with a reputable history of stable operations and overseen by individuals with significant credentials in educational administration.
• Upon application and throughout accreditation, the institution must agree to adhere to IAOMM’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics, Accreditation Standards, Quality Standards, policies, and procedures, supporting the accreditation process’ objectives and integrity.
• The institution must exhibit responsible financial management over a minimum period of one year, ensuring adequate resources to sustain high-quality educational services and complete the education of all enrolled participants.
